According to the official reports more than 111 prisoners, among them 5 political prisoners, have been executed in Iran since the beginning of January.

because today is Holocaust Remembrance Day 
a humble Tribute to Aristides de Sousa Mendes,
a Great portuguese diplomat and so often forgotten !!!! 

Sousa Mendes issued an estimated 30,000 visas to Jews
and other persecuted minorities (as political dissidents and army officers from occupied countries), ignoring and defying orders of our fascist government.

He saved an enormous number of lives and lost his career for it,
dying in poverty still in disgrace with the portuguese government
of that recent time.
