Gosh, this is big, Luiza. This picture is extraordinary. I can't believe you managed to get a composition so accurate and powerful by watching people from the back. There are dozens of things about it: the hair of the girls is an ethnic echo that tells everything about them. Is there any other better way to explain a procissâo? Homogeneity, pure respect to tradition, collective walk, etc. Catholic countries have this characteristical issue: doesn't matter where you are, which continent is it, the catholic-pagan feeling achieves peculiar echoes that make us remember our childhood.
