Vovós

avó Idalina
grandma Idalina, Mom’s mom (1895 - 1971)

Avó Idalina was very obstinate and dreamer with a golden heart.
she taught me the spiritual and resistance way ....

i remember till today the story of the white horse, the one which passes in front of our door just once and if we don’t catch him right then we will never see him again.
this white horse is life and freedom !!! and opportunity, i guess.

avô Zé Pedro
grandpa Zé Pedro, Mom's dad (1888 - 1976)

Avô Zé Pedro was very tender and a caring watcher always there to support me, almost all time in silence, he had an amazing gift, he knew in advance when i was feeling blue and i runned to hide in his open arms, safe at last ....

he taught me to see the world, to never lie and that silence sometimes is better than words, because words can lie too ....

i grew up with them since i was 1 year and a half till my 14 years old.
we lived in lisbon downtown, Grandparents, Mom, João and i,

in R. Garrett, n. 17.

I love you, Vovós !!!!!
