Universal Children's Day ???

i truly begin to abhor these universal days .... 

today marks 
the 25th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child.

starvation, homeless and orphans from misery and wars,
no healthcare, genital mutilation, child labor, child marriage, abuse  
detained in prisons or soldiers oh dear sooooo many terrible facts .... 
and how many Kids died today, do we know ??? 

there is a child waiting for us everywhere ....
let's give food, clothes books toys .... 
i'll never forget the happiness of a little girl when she got a teddy bear, it was not brand-new but .... it was her first & only Teddy Bear !!!!!
