Allen Ginsberg Birthday

❝ Follow your inner moonlight; don't hide the madness.

❝ Millions of babies in pain
Millions of mothers in rain
Millions of brothers in woe
Millions of children nowhere to go

- Allen Ginsberg -
from September on Jessore Road

June 3, 1926 - April 5, 1997

Allen wrote this legendary poem, September on Jessore Road, after visiting Bengalis refugee camps and witnessing the plight of millions fleeing the violence, during the Bangladesh Liberation War in 1971.
