Alva Campbell ► OH botched execution called off

Prison officials said the execution is "delayed indefinitely." They said they tried both arms and a leg but were unable to find a vein to insert the IV. Witnesses were escorted out. 

Members of the Ohio execution team tried to find veins in the arms and right leg of death row prisoner Alva Campbell for 
about 80 minutes before stopping.

This is only the third time in U.S. history that an execution has been called off after the process has begun.
